Product Information
3/8 Inch Limestone Screenings in Austin, TX
Limestone Screenings 3/8" is a finely crushed limestone material that compacts tightly, creating a smooth and stable surface. Because of its smaller size and stone dust content, it locks together extremely well when properly installed.
It is commonly used as a base under pavers, flagstone, and pathways, and is also popular for walkways and patio foundations where a firm, level surface is needed.
- Re-compact if surface loosens over time.
- Add light top-off material if settling occurs.
- Maintain proper drainage to prevent washout.
- Install over compacted base for best long-term performance.
When installed correctly, screenings create a very low-maintenance surface.
- Clear and level the installation area.
- Install landscape fabric if desired.
- Spread screenings evenly.
- Lightly mist with water and compact thoroughly.
